Impact sound

Impact sound is caused by footsteps – but not only the movement of people on a floor, office equipment such as printers also generates impact sound during operation. Due to structure-borne sound transmission, i.e. sound transmission in solids, impact sound can be perceived in rooms below and above as well as in adjacent rooms.

Impact sound is therefore easily transmitted sound that can be heard in other rooms. What at first sounds harmless can have serious consequences for your employees in the long run: Problems such as concentration problems are not uncommon.
